Bio:

Poojan is the Manager of Algorithmic Trading at Key Capture Energy, where he oversees the ERCOT and NYISO energy storage fleets for Day-Ahead/Real-Time trading and short-term structures. He also manages the development and maintenance of the automated battery optimization and bidding codebase.

Previously, he worked at EDF Renewables, focusing on market optimization for CAISO batteries. There, he led the valuation of multiple battery, wind, and solar projects, as well as various hedge structures.

Poojan holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Systems from Columbia University.
